If that makes sense to you, cool, no logic for you then. Nope, you are just playing with another person.īeing in an abandoned asylum with another person makes more sense than going alone, at night with no one knowing where you are and with nothing to defend yourself. Heck, does coop in dying light make sense? people demanding coop say they do not care about that all the time. There will be people who does care about logic paying money for a well build up co-op like the one in Portal 2, or any decent one, and will think of this one we're talking about as what it really is: a total fraud. The problem is, just because you don't, doesn't mean nobody does. But, you are right, it could be fun for those who don't care about logic. Two players dealing a situation made for one means one player doing nothing. In co-op mode games, both players have to figure out how to resolve a situation made for two. Adding co-op withoout optimizing the story for co-op doesn't make sense. Just a simple coop option, no one here asked for a deep coop story mode with additional gameplay or ♥♥♥♥ like that. Oh, the story isn't going to make sense either way considering how "good" the story of the first one was. The guys who want a coop mode don't care about the logic, we just want to enjoy the game with our friends. Just allow another person to play with you. No, thanks, I prefer a story campaign that's valid itself without the need for playing any DLC's or alternative modes, like co-op or whatever. AND if they do justify this on the games plot, it implies you MUST play co-op to understand the full story. Now, how do you make a compatible co-op campaign? You can't just pretend that two guys suddenly appeared in the middle of the place and had their own adventures too without justifying this on the game's plot. You have the single player campaign, a story about a person who goes to places, and lives certain events. Because the story would't make any sense.
